How Stack Monitor works

Where is my inventory stored?

In your browser only. Stack Monitor saves your asset list and every evidence field to this browser's local storage — nothing you enter is sent to EOSL.ai or any server. Clearing your browser data, or using a different browser or device, starts fresh. Export a CSV or JSON copy to keep or move your inventory.

How does it stay current?

Every time you open Stack Monitor, each saved asset is re-checked against the live lifecycle database, so if a vendor revises a bulletin the status updates. Set a next-review date on any asset and the tool flags it when the review is overdue.

What can I export?

A CSV with every asset and evidence field (owner, criticality, support status, exception reason, compensating control, replacement target, review date, source URL and last-verified date) for an asset review or audit; a JSON copy that imports straight back in; or print to PDF from your browser.

Is it free?

Yes, and there is nothing to sign up for. The inventory, evidence fields and exports need no login and no account, because the whole tool runs in your browser — there is no service behind it to charge for. For change notifications, subscribe to the change feed or add a vendor's end-of-support calendar to your own calendar app.
